John (Johann) W Pfeffer m. Sue Lombrier

My ancestor, John (Johann) W Pfeffer was born in 1841, Hurhessen, Germany. He died 4 Jan 1898 and was buried in Calvary Cemetary, Queens, NY.
He served as a private in A Co/35th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry. Enlisted March 13, 1865, mustered out July 20, 1865 near Alexandria, VA. He was disabled due to rhumatism, a disease of the heart and died of lobar pneumonia.
He married Suzanne Lombrier (b. 1845, d.19 Jan 1877) and had children; Jacob, Valentine, Peter, Margaret, Arthur, and Katherine. Some of these were his from Suzanne, some were from a second marriage to a woman whom I've yet to ID.
If anyone has any info on this that might take me further or clarify, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
John Wrann
