Dear Diane,

I am also researching Pfeils. My husband's Great Aunt, Ida Pauline Luise Konradine vonZabiensky, b. Feb. 27 1813 in Enger, married a Dr. Pfeil and came to the US (Philadelphia area) in mid 1800's. All I know is they had children -- at least one son named Max and a sister. I have lots of data on the vonZabiensky's who were from the nobility. (Have proof thru the Gotha dating back to 1500's.) Possibly the Pfeils were nobility also. Check the Gotha. Let's stay in touch. Berta Ranft --
