Dear Robert,

I also am researching Pfeils. My husband's Great Aunt Ida Pauline Luise Konradine vonZabiensky, b. Feb. 27, 1813 in Enger, married a Dr. Pfeil and came to the US (Philadelphia area) in mid 1800's. I know they had children. Do not know how many. Have a photo of one son named Max sitting with a pretty girl whom I assusme is a sister. The vonZabiensky's were from the nobility (proof back to 1500's via Gotha). Pfeils could also be from the nobility, so you might want to check the Gotha. Let's stay in touch. Berta Ranft --
