Dear Arnoldus,

I know very little about the Netherlands, but also researching Pfeils. My husband's Great Aunt Ida Pauline Luise Konradine vonZabiensky, b. Feb. 27 1815 in Enger, married a Dr. Pfeil and came to the US (Philadelphia area) in the mid 1800's. They had children - i do not know how many. Have a photo of one son, Max, and a sister (name not known). The vonZabiensky's were from the Nobility (proof back to 1500's thru Gotha). Pfeils may also have been from the nobility, so you may want to check Gotha. Let's stay in touch. Berta Ranft --
