It may be just coincidence, but I have a direct ancestor named Christian Andreas Carl Pfeil b. 1778, Enger, East Prussia. His father, Christian Gottlieb Pfeil, of Berlin, was married twice, first to Charlotte Maria Louise Korber (1778), then to Marie Sophia Charlotte Louise Seehausen (1797).
Christian Andreas Pfeil married Ida Pauline Luise Konradine von Zabiensky in Enger, Prussia, in 1831.
But, Andreas was and still is a popular name in Germany, and the dates and places don't seem to match up.
Good luck in your search.
