Dear Sue,

Oh Boy! I think we can "relate" ! My grandmother, Anna Rae Pyle(pile), wrote down the history she could remember.
Caspar Pfeil (Pile) came to this country in the company of two brothers from Germany about 1756. Caspar bought 640 acres of land in Somerset, PA. about six miles north of Somerset town in the Rhodes settlement. He had six sons and one daughter. The sons were: Casper, Michael, John, Jacob, George, and Abraham.
