Dear Chrintine,

I am also looking for Pfeil information. My husband's Gr. Gr. Aunt was Ida Pauline Luise Konradene vonZabiensky b. 27 Feb. 1813 in Enger, Prussia. She married a Dr. Pfeil and came to America in the l840's. She also had a brother, Adolf Ferdinand who came to Phil. in 1842. He was from Enger and it is noted he came without permission (whatever that means.) The vonZabienskys were from the nobility and I have the Gotha which lists their lineage back to the l500s. Ida and Adolf's parents were Friedrich Christoph vonZabiensky, b. 27 Nov. 1779 Sachen nr. Muschaken, E. Prussia - married 5 Feb l805 in Herford Friederike Luise Ahlemann, b. 21 Nov 1780 Herford, Westphalia, Prussia. (Muenstergemeinde Evangelisch)

Appreciate any data you might have, and I will keep my eyes open for your research. Berta Ranft -
