Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I have a group of original photographs, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo of Henry & Mattie is 7”x8”, and shows them on what I suspect was their 50th anniversary, in about 1938; this photo was taken in Evansville (Vanderburgh Co.) IN. I have the newspaper obituary of Henry, who died at age 87, with his photo; and a copy of the newspaper photo and article about Henry and Mattie’s 59th anniversary. There is a photo of “Uncle Fred Pfister”, taken when he was about age 50; and I have a group of photos of Nellie Pfister at ages 14, 16, 18 and up to about 24 (before she was married to a Walter Bruner and later to a Peter Bauer).
I found the family of Henry and Mattie and children in the 1900 census for Vanderburgh Co., IN. Henry, born Sep 1861; Mattie, born Mar 1865. Henry’s obituary shows their children were Clara, Anna, Nellie, Fred, Riley and Will. Henry and Mattie lived in Vanderburgh Co., IN until 1937 when they moved to Decatur, IL.
