Dear John Pfost,

I live in Los Altos, CA at 1090 Eastwood Court. My wife (JoAnn) and our three children moved into our present home in 1968. Our oldest boy (David) has a manufacturer's rep business (in semiconductors) in Bellevue, WA. Our middle son (Dale)is president,CEO,and chrmn.of the board of his company "ORCHID" in Princeton, NJ, and our daughter (Kimberly)works for Verisign (of Mtn. View)and lives in Santa Clara, CA. Each of the boys has a son while Kimberly has no children.

JoAnn and I met at UC Berkeley on October 11, 1950 and were married September 13,1952 in Fresno which was her home town. I was born june, 20, 1928 in Boise,ID and lived my first 9 years in Meridian where my Father,Robert R.,had a poultry processing plant. We moved to Boise in 1937 where I finnished high school and our family then moved to California. I have two brothers Ralph E.(Fresno). and Frank W. (deceased). All of our family is listed in the Valentine bibliography. I don't know the line of ascention as you described in your web page but I'm sure one could obtain it from the book. Dale has met the lady who wrote the book and I have talked to her a few time on the phone.
My background is well covered in the Internet if one types my name into Google (or any of the search engines)there are some 55 entries.
I would enjoy corresponding with you in the future.

Fred Pfost
