PFUHL, Catherine R., "Cathy" Age 84, of Dayton died Thursday, November 3, 2005. Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Stuart Pfuhl; three daughters: Sharon (George) Hughes of Colorado, Marcia (Brian) Matevia of Cincinnati and Kristine (Michael) Burger; ten grandchildren: Julie Barnhart, Brian Lahey, Amy Royer, Marianne Riley, Matthew Wolf, Emily Hartmann, Nathan Burger and Philip Burger and Dan Matevia; 10 great-grandchildren: Megan and Matthew Barnhart, Phillip and Stuart Royer, Amanda and Scott Riley, Leo, Aden and Ella Hartmann and Nikolaus Wolf; brother-in-law, Fred Pfuhl of Kettering and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Nellie Campbell, and two brothers; Jack and Harry Campbell. Besides her husband and family, Cathy's passion was cooking (she once operated a catering service out of her home was well known for her wedding cakes) and gardening (her backyard was designated a national bird refuge). The family will receive friends at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering from noon until 2:00 PM, Monday, November 7, 2005. A brief family led-memorial celebration of Cathy's life will then be held before proceeding to Woodland Cemetery for the burial.
