I am a Phair descendent and recognized all of the names in your posting. My line is believed to be connected back to Colonel Robert Phayre through his great-granddaughter Catherine Phair, daughter of Thomas Phair and Mary Jane Phillips. Catherine was the mother of John William Phair who married Ellen Keeffe. The lines of PEIRCE, KING, FARMER, PHAIRE, GAMBLE all appear on the family chart.

I would love to share information with you. I don't have a whole lot on the collateral lines but do have info on several branches of the Phayre/Phaire/Phair line.

You can email me directly at: lauraphair@earthlink.net
