My Grandmother Phair families came from Ardfield, and Mallow, Co. Cork, Ireland. I have a connection with Col. Robert Phayre; It has been stated that any Phair/Phayre from Ireland are descendents of this Robert.

I've updated my Phair/Phayre records

Your Herbert from Co. Cork will connected to Roberts line you will just have to keep searching.

Take a look; use the index to find names, don't worry about the spelling of the surname.
