Bill, thank you for contacting me.

As Far as Hugh Phair b. 1813 I do not have any records for him.... Can you give me some additional early Irish info?

It has been stated that all Phair’s descend from Col. Robert Phaire/Phayre of County Cork. I’m not sure this is true; any “Farr” in Scotland could have came over and settled in Northern Ireland.

I do have a lot of info on Prince Henry Sinclair, His mother was known as Isabella of Strathearn; AKA Elizabeth Sparre, my 17th Half Great-Grand-Aunt. Henry slew my 16th Grandfather Malise Sperra in 1391. (Family Folk Lore)

Tell me more about your connection to the Sinclair’s of Rosslyn.
