Hi Carolmay, --- If you are refering to the 1780's, we may be talking about the same PHAIR's. New Brunswick did not exist before 1784, and was part of Nova Scotia before that date. It was in the 1780's that my ancestor left the newly formed U.S. for New Brunswick. The family originated from English or Irish stock. Did your PHAIR's at one time live in New York or nearby?
