Clearly there is a Pharr and Wallace conection. Still don't see Ephraim Phair or Pharr married to one. The one who died 1798 in Lexington Ga. was mar. to a Jane Smith and we do know she was named Jane from the 1800 Oglethorpe C. Census. His will says Jane. Now Ephraim's father was Edward and had a brother named Ephraim but he was mar. to Margaret Dickerson 1739-1795 in Mecklenburg C. NC. and Hanna Lewis 1741- abt 1770 in York C. Pa. Now he had a son named Ephraim mar. to a Jane but no know last name. She died abt 1815 in Sumner C. Tn. They also had a son name Ephraim and believe he died in Vandenburg C. Indiana but no date. He is shown on the 1830 Edwards C. Illinois census and 1840 and 1850 Vandenburg C. Indiana census.
I've had several people get Edward and Ephraim mixed up. The question is if you have one son named Ephraim do you name a second one Ephraim?
