One area you might check on is the deeds in Ireland from 1790 to 1846. There was a James Phair whose father was Francis Phair, a paper manufacturer, whose father was William Phair, also a paper manufacturer. The all lived in Cork, Ireland. I have taken the liberty to duplicate and study to some extent the mentioned deeds and made copies of them. They can be procured at the Geneology Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. If you would like copies, please advise. My family came from Northern Ireland, although I know I tie in somewhere. My Great, Great Grandfather, James Phair was born in Fermanagh in approximately 1818 and his wife, my great, great grandmother Mary Foster Phair was born in Monaghan in 1820 and went to Canada in approximate-ly 1839. I think his Father was Thomas Phair. Please let me know if you would like my information.
