Hi John,
Am wondering if your grgrandfather Edward born in 1824
could have been a brother to Robert Albion of our family, born 1812;married to Mary Jane Thompson. They came to Canada
to the Kingston area of Ontario. We know of his father Edward, a widower, born 1775, but have no knowledge of siblings who must have existed.
I also have some data on a John Phair,a shoemaker in Kingston.
Good luck,
Muriel
