Hi Muriel

Thanks for your response to my query. Its is possibility that the Robert Albion you refer to may be a sibling of my GGrandfather Edward.

I have been to the area that he lived. Apparently the house he lived in was on the edge of a local bog (swamp area) and he was known as Ned The Heather. Just can not find any connections to other possible sibling links so your link is as good as any I have to date. I am hopeful that I may get something from the United Kingdom census of 1901 which has been published on the WWW recently. The problem is the system is so popular it keeps crashing due to overload. I will wait a while until it settles down.
Once again thanks for your info. Will continue to try and get some local info when I am next over in N Ireland.

John
