Richard; Thank you for responding. One of the dates doesn't work: Fanny could not have been born in Nov. of 1860 as William J. was born on May 17, 1860 and census records indicate she was 4 years younger. I have some changes in info concerning William J. Phair. He was married 3 times. 1st wife Fanny Townsend died September 8, 1885 and their infant daughter, Francis, born August 1885 died November 25, 1885. 2nd wife, Annie Bella Seymour born 1860 died 1891, had 2 children: Jenny Maud born March 1888 and Annie Pearl born April 1890; both were living in 1900 but no further information after that. 3rd wife Margaret Fraser with whom he had 5 children as previously stated. Another interesting item: my research finds that Jennie Phair from Brock Township, Ont. moved to North Dakota to live with her brother after his 1st wife died and she married Edwin Seldon January 5. 1887 in Grafton, North Dakota. I thought this was perhaps his sister Fanny Jemima but it is certainly possible is was his older sister, Jane. Another researcher I visited believes this to be true. Again thank you for the follow-up. Roberta
