My Great Grandfather William Phare is shown on the 1861 Census as having been born at North Lew in ABT 1829, However there does not appear to be a William born there at that time. As your family has a William born in 1929, at Beaworthy, and the family subsequently moved to NorthLew, I wonder if they are one and the same? Do you have any further information about William?
