First no Samuel is not my direct line. Samuel and Matilda children. 1. Matilda abt. 1816 b. S.C. 2. George W. abt. 1845 in Mississippi to after 1880. 3. John 1 April 1844 Mississippi to 6 Feb. 1933 in Pickton Cem. Hopkins Texas 4. William Thomas abt. 1846 in Miss. 5. James A. M. abt. 1848 Miss. 5. Samuel Milton 14 Feb. 1850 in Miss. 29 may 1929 El Paso Tx. mar. to Margaret Stevenson. Benjamin abt. 1853 in Miss. mar. S. A. b. abt. 1858 in Tx. With all this most can't be documented with out some family help. There may be some mistakes so as they say take it with a grain of salt.
Samuel was shown on the 1870 census for Hopkins Co. Tx. George is show on the 1870 census with his parents. Samuel Milton show on the 1880 census for Hopkins Tx. If you find anything on this family please drop me a line. Some of this info come from Gracey and Tommy Moss. I may have had other help I did not list. Not taking credit for all.
