I'm working on building a map where we can trace the Pharr family on the census. going back to 1790 where members of our family were listed as Farr in North Carolina. Then do and update every census up to 1930. I would like to do it is different color pins for each branch. Say Edward Phair and where each of his sons lived then where each grandson lived and so on. Family's that I'm not sure which branch they fell in could be in a different color till we know where they fall. The hardest part would be the family that took the spelling Farr. We could then see how the family spread and might help a few who can't find there grandparents. My idea is to have the states out lined and then be able to punch in a given county like say Oglethorpe and it would appear in the given state. Then have a pin for each different family. Now if I can get help to set this up. Once I get started I can do it my self at least for right now.
