Do you know the wives of John Fleming Pharr? Do you have and death dates? On the 1900 census his wife name is Carry H. One the 1910 it's Clara H. My guess the same person? On the 1920 it's Minnie L. and 1930 it's Minnie Lee born Alabama.
1930 census notes:
1930 United States Federal Census 1930 United States Federal Census

Estimated birth year: abt 1870
Birthplace: Georgia
Relation to Head of House: Head
Spouse's name: Minnie Lee

Household Members: Name Age
James F Pharr 60
Minnie Lee Pharr 50
Source Citation: Year: 1930; Census Place: Denmark, Madison, Tennessee; Roll 2264; Page: 1B; Enumeration District: 5; Image: 163.0.
As I'm sure you note he seems to get younger every census?
