Yes this is the record of Samuel Thatcher Pharr's widow.
I have Samuel Thatcher Pharr dying in 1849 in AR and his wife dying in AR in 1880 --- but she was n Alabama in 1860 and 1870 censuses--- can't find her in 1850 yet.
I also have just found her in 1860 in Tallapoosa Co as head of household ( Ancestry lists her as Tarr).
Her household consists of:
David McCreight( Ancestry says McCrite)58 and Elizabeth McCreight 60 both from SC.
Next in census is William and Mary Casey her daughter and son-in-law.
In 1872. David and Elizabeth McCreight sell 25 acres in what is now Clay County , AL( then Tallapoosa Co, AL) to Patterson Smith Martin, my GGrandfather, son of Elijah and Jane Pharr, daughter of the Mary Pharr listed above and Samuel T Pharr.
I am now looking foe some connection between the McCreights
adn the Pharrs -- do you know of any?
