I have been following this family and what I have found. Cencus notes: From Pharrs and Farrs said to live till age 82 and David William was the youngest of 21 children by both wifes. The book only gives 14 names. He was a Presbyterian Minister and quiet deaf in his old age. He was a veteran of the War of 1812 serving in the First Regement of Tennessee Riflemen. Served till 1 Nov 1814, when he employed William Brown to compleate his enlistment. Brown served another 7 months. He and his brother Samuel served at the Battle of New Orleans. - 1810 United States Federal Census 1810 United States Federal Census Name: James Farr Township: Middletown , County: Jefferson , State: Kentucky Free White Males 16 to 25= 1 , Free White Females Under 10= 1 , 16 to 25= 1 Number of Household Members Under 16: 1 , Number of Household Members: 3 Source Citation: Year: 1810; Census Place: Middletown, Jefferson, Kentucky; Roll 7; Page: 31; Family History Number: 0181352; Image: 00038. line 13 question? -1820 United States Federal Census 1820 United States Federal Census Name: James Farr County: Wilson , State: Tennessee males 10-16=2, 45-up=1, females 10-16=1, 16-18=3, 26-45=1, Foreigners not natural =2 this last I beliee is wrong should be involved in agriculture Source Citation: Year: 1820; Census Place: , Wilson, Tennessee; Roll M33_122; Page: 378; Image: 340. line 5 -1830 United States Federal Census 1830 United States Federal Census Name: James Pharr Home in 1830: , Pike, Missouri Number of persons in household: 9 Ages of persons in household: males 0-5=2, 5-10=1, 10-15=2, 30-40=1, females 0-5=1, 5-10=1, 20-30=1 Source Citation: 1830 U S Census: , Pike, Missouri, Page: 251; NARA Roll: M19-72; Family History Film: 0014853. line 2 -1840 United States Federal Census 1840 United States Federal Census Name: James Pharr County: Pike , State: Missouri Number of persons in household: 9 Ages of persons in household: males 0-5=1, 5-10=1, 10-15=1, 40-50=1, females 0-5=2, 10-15=1, 15-20=1, 30-40=1, Occupation information : 4 agriculture Source Citation: Year: 1840; Census Place: , Pike, Missouri; Roll 228; Page: 86; Image: 178; Family History Library Film: 0014857. line 9 -1850 United States Federal Census 1850 United States Federal Census Name: James Pharr Age: 58 , Estimated birth year: abt 1792 , Birth Place: Tennessee Gender: Male farmer estate $400./ can read & write Home in 1850 (City,County,State): District 4, Audrain, Missouri Family Number: 399 Household Members: Name Age James Pharr 58 , Lucy Pharr 40 Epraim Pharr 18 Mo, Martha Pharr 14 Mo George Pharr 12 Mo, Mary Pharr 10 Mo Ann V Pharr 7 Mo, Sarah Pharr 3 Mo Catharine Pharr 4m Mo Source Citation: Year:11 Sept 1850; Census Place: District 4, Audrain, Missouri; Roll M432_391; Page: 181B; Image: 370. -1860 United States Federal Census 1860 United States Federal Census Name: James Pharr Age in 1860: 70 , Birth Year: abt 1790 , Birthplace: Tennessee Home in 1860: Cuivre, Audrain, Missouri Gender: Male Post Office: Hickory Creek Value of real estate: $2,000./520.
