This is the best I can come up with on the Pharr who might have been a doctor in Chrenshaw C. As we talked before Samuel Thatcher Pharr had a son named Elias Wesley Pharr. He also had a son named Edward Pharr who married Mary L Weeks in Pike C. Ga. The family lived in Heard C. Ga. That's on the Alabama line.

As you can see he lived in Heard C. and shown on the 1850 and 1860 census and on the Gov. Brown Milita census late in the war. He is shown again on the 1870 census in Heard C. before moving to Floyd C. Ga on the 1880. He then moves on to Scott C. Arkansas for the 1900 census. That's a 20 year jump. Also looks like he changed wives. His first wife Mary Weeks must have died before 1880 and he remarried another Mary. Note the large age change. His second wife is the same age as his two youngest daughters. Too add to it his mother Mary Guffin who married Samuel T. Pharr is shown in Tallapoosa C. Ala for the 1850 and 1860 census. Then she moves to Chrenshaw C. Ala. She had family over in Wilcox C. and that not to far away. My notes on Mary Guffin: -2.3.19(a)
- Daughter of Thomas Guffin and Jane Welch. It is reported she was 106.3 when she died.

This has to be the Doctor you were looking for? I don't think it's a big leep from Eli to Edward. What do you think?
