- There is a Joseph Pharr on the 1849 Cherokee tax records.
-On the 4 Aug. 1850 census for the 15th Dist. of Cherokee County, Georgia (817) line 85/85 Pharr J. W. 55/m Meth. Clergy $800 Ga, M. A. 52/f NC, M. S. 21/m NC, S. A. 18/m NC, M 15/f Ga, A. E. 14/m Ga, J. 12/f Ga, A. O. 9/m Ga. Note two children born NC the rest Georgia.
As you can see on 1830 census it could be one or the other. I just not sure.

- Looks like Moses could have been the Post Master 17 Aug. 1886 followed by John G. Pharr 30 March 1901. There is also a date of 13 Jan. 1897 and 26 Sept. 1906.

7. Mary A. mar Andrew J. Sosbee notes:-Info on this family from 1880 census check wife and mother inlaws notes.
There is a Andrew J. Sosebee who served Company C 43 Georgia Infantry. He became a POW 16 May 1863. Must have been paroled and then transfered to Company L and later promtoed to Full Sergeant 5 class. Enlisted 10 May 1862 Pickens County, Georgia.

-A. E. Pharr served enlisted 15 May 1862 Company B 38th Georgia from Milton County, Georgia. Note cousin John also was in this Regiment.
Swore his loyalty oath in Cherokee County, Ga 1867.
