Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I tend to believe James Noah Farr was not a Pharr. He was born in Union South County, Carolina from what I find. There is a marriage for a James farr to a Jane Dunaway on Ancestry.com
Since there were known Pharrs in or near Hall county and looks like James can't read it was recored wrong. Note James was also missing limbs from the way I read it. My guess is he lost them in the war. Might try the Farr page and see what they have?
The only thing I have is a Noah Pharr and he was never married. Born 1857 and died 1885. The son of William Barr Pharr.
