Ester Thompson married Samuel Phair There children were
1. James Bradley b. 1763 in Pennsylvania or South Carolina and d. 1842 Hinds C. Miss.
2. Samuel b. 11 Nov. 1774 York C. Pa. d. 9 July 1832 NC. 3. Elizabeth b. between bef 1790
4. Hanna b. bet 1790-1800
5. Margaret Reed b. bet 1790-1800.
The three women were born in Mecklenburg C. NC. The book Pharrs and Farrs clearly says that Ester was a cousin of Samuel. They meet at the farm of Uncle Edward Neddy Phair. Samuel father was George 3.1.1 Phair. Ester mother was Margaret Phair a sister of George and Edward. In the will of John Thompson of Campbell County Virginia he says he is the father of Ester Phair the wife of Samuel. In the will he states he bought 400 acres from John Beard who would be the father of Rachel Beard the wife of Edward Neddy Phair.
