Hi Debbie,
If Margaret's account is accurate about Nancy Todd Phenix dying in 1821, there are two sisters for your Elizabeth S Phenix (provided my dates are good). Nancy Penelope Phenix (1827-1880) and Emily P. Phenix (Mar 1835-?). As Margaret stated, Nancy married Lorenzo Dow Parmenter and had several children. They ended up in Oak Ridge, Stoddard, MO. Nancy may have been born in Tenn so perhaps their unknown mother came from Tenn as well? All I have on Henry Phenix is b. 11 Feb 1778 in PA and d. 12 May 1845 in Crittenden, KY. Also Henry was in the 1820 census of Lawrence, TN, so the family likely moved to KY aft 1821.
I also descend from Preston Kemper Phenix and thus from Henry Phenix's first wife so the info I have on your branch is limited. I hope this info helps. Good luck.
Deirdre Nelson
