The (best bet) birthplace of William is GRESFORD in Denbigshire:
Unfortunately the 1841 census returns for the Wrexham district are lost - He must have moved between 1841 and 1851 as he is not on the 1851 census in Wales. An other unfortunate thing as the 1851 census for Manchester was badly water damaged and he is not on those that have survived.
Bridget is at 29 Thompson Street, in the Greengate area of Salford on rge 1851 "unfilmed census", along with Patrick, Mary, John and sister Mary:
