Here are the facts I have access to.
Joseph Phenix 1808-1892
Mary Phenix nee Cheetham first wife 1812-1850
Sarah Phenix nee Roberts second wife 1824-1890.
They married in 1852. Joseph a wheel rite, lived his life in an area called Isycoed a small but beautiful community of about a dozen houses on the banks of the river Dee, between Marchwiel and Wrexham.
The area now is an industrial estate, I would think Joseph owned a small workshop and made or repaired carriage wheels for the local gentry in Marchwiel Hall.
