I'd like to know more about Jemima Boyd's parentage. I found her listed as "Miami Boyd" in the 1880 census of Bullock County, AL in Perote as dau of James and Fannie Boyd. I am trying to determine whether this is the same James Boyd who appears in the 1900 census of Bullock County, AL, with a different wife (Mary, b. Aug 1847) and a whole different set of children, the oldest of which was Alten (Alto?), born July 1881.
