Jeanne, I have a possible connection for you - at least a family your Elizabeth T. Philbrook-Stodder may be attached to. This certainly needs more research.

There is a "George & Mary Philbrook" found living in Boston, Mass. in the 1850 Census. Now in the 1850 Census they have a daughter, "Isabelle" age "4" (born about 1846) in "Mass." This matches the "Elizabeth Belle T. Stodder" I found living in Hopkinton, Mass. in the 1880 Census. Her birth year is about 1846, bp "Mass." - This leads me to believe we have a probable match to the George & Mary living in Boston in 1850. George & Mary were both born in "Maine" according to the 1850 Census. I'm still looking at the many Maine Philbrooks who might be connected.

Please e-mail me directly and we'll see what other info we can exchange that might help us determine exactly how your "Elizabeth T." fits in the main Philbrick/Philbrook Family Tree.

Sincerely,

Robert W. Philbrook
