Sheila, Have you heard of the geneology book written by Rev. Jacob Chapman in the late 1800's? He researched and documented the Philbrook/Philbrick names from 1635. It is a great book. You can request it from certain libraries, but you can only use it in the library. It is well worth it. It is a little overwhelming at first, but fun just the same. I am a Philbrook by marriage and I used the book to do my husband's family thru 13 generations. I found the oldest Philbrook in the book and worked backwards. It took awhile, but now it's done. Let me know if I can help. Thanks and have fun. Maureen
