My grandmother Margaret Philby landed at the Port Of New York December 24, 1863. She arrived with her parents George
and Elizabeth Shelton Philby. She had one brother who was born at sea on the trip over from England.She also had other bros. and sisters. Over here their name was spelled PHILBY, her birth certificate shows the name spelled FILBY.
Any information on them would be greatly appreciated.
