Hi Allan,
In response to your question if John was in the revolutionary war. I have found nothing I do not believe he was. On the other hand his brother Christopher as a teenager was a volunteer in the war and his brother Jacob served in the Militia which were citizens on call basically in an emergency. It is believed John's father Jerg Philip Wulhauer was from Heilbron Germany. I am not exactly sure which family you are looking for I have children and dates for John's family he was my 3rd great grandfather. I also have children and dates for Philip's it is a very long list so if you can be more specific on what you would like I would be happy to help you.
