My maternal's ancestor Philibert was living Querville (Kirwiller) Metz area in Lorraine, France; Jean-Baptiste married M-Felicite Trudel at Neuville in Quebec in 1758 and he had mentionned that his parents was Jean-Baptiste Philibert and Genevieve Henrion.

I took some days in Lorraine in 1996 to make research and to visit the little village; a lot of emotions, but I was unable to found a confirmation of the mariage of J-B and Genevieve Henrion.

In 1752 Henry Filbert married Henriette Oye at Kirwiller and he was the son of Jean and Henriette Henrion.

I will try later, the retirement is not far away.

Who knows, purhaps cousins 10, 12 generations or more.
