I suspect, but haven't been able to prove, that my Benjamin FILBERT/PHILBERT was also your Wharton PHILBERT's son.

Benjamin married Ann/Anna WOODS on Sept. 4, 1825 in Clark Co. KY. In checking the census index, I found no FILBERTs in KY at that time, only two PHILBERTs: Wharton & Luke. Wharton was listed in Clark Co. in 1810 & 1820, Luke only in 1820.

My line moved from KY to MO, then spent some time in KS & NE before settling in Oklahoma Territory. I have some tidbits I've collected about FILBERT/PHILBERTs in KY & MO, but am missing so many pieces of the puzzle that I don't have a good overview. Perhaps we have the answers to some of each other's questions.
