I am interested in the Philibert name only as a means to discover documentation for the marriage of Dolores Moreno to Louis Theophile Philibert. Louis is the son of Peter Philibert and Louise Martin (Danes). Dolores appears to be the daughter of Juan Moreno and Marie Hindemberg (Yndemberg) (Hendenberg) of Pensacola. The Spanish census of Pensacola lists Juan and Marie Moreno's family as Benigno, Genevieve, Rosendo and Francisco. My ancestor is Benigno. Other documents in the archives of Immaculate Conception show baptisms and marriages with these same names appearing as sponsors to each others children. The name Dolores shows up as being the parent of Delphine Philibert with Dolores' husband Theophile Philibert. Dolores is possibly the same person as Rosendo. The sponsors are Genevieve Moreno Barclay and Benjamin Moreno. Since I need stronger documentation for this Moreno family, I am following the Philibert family, but in the earlier years as the docs pertain to this early Moreno family. I am constantly collecting and would be content to pass on any info to you if you can give me a specific focus.
