My gg-grandfather, George Roy (1843-1926) lived in Nouvelle, QC near Carleton.
His daughter Charlotte Roy (1873-1911)married Joseph PHILLIP.
His son Francois Roy (1876-1965) married Adeline PHILLIP.

This info taken from tombstones located in graveyard in Nouvelle, QC not far from Carleton.

Are these connected to you? Can you send info on either ROY or PHILIPPE families?

In my copy of "Les Registres de la Gaspesie, 1752-1860" by Patrice Gallant there are other listings for "PHILIPPE" and "PHILIPPS" families.

I can do look-ups for you.
