There were some Phillippi/e's in Bartholomew Ind (south of Indianapolis) in the mid 1800's. They later relocated to Iowa.
Try the family of George Phillippe and Agnes Lee. Also Green Lee Phillippe and Mary Jane White. (this is not my Phillippi line so I don't know much about them) The Phillippi name is spelled every which way. Many of the census takers could not spell. Many of the early Phillippi's were illiterate.
