Hi Bill,

This may be a very wild shot but I am descended from a Peter Philippi of New Orleans, LA. He supposedly migrated to the US with 2 other brothers. They landed up north and one brother stayed there. Petere journeyed to New Orleans and later his brother Karl followed. The red flash is your note was that the family came from the Rheinland. My group came from Hundsbach, a tiny town between the Glan and Nahe rivers in the Rhineland. Another clue is the similiarity of first names. A Johanna was a daughter of my Peter. You said you have some infor on their parents. Could the father's name be Johannes and mother Elizabeth? I just found your note and you may no longer be there but I am hoping you will see this and respond.
