johnathan shearer can be found in the passinger lists for the ship "Minerva" Oct 13, 1769; Master:Thomas Arnott.
passinger is listed as Johan Christoph Scherrer.

I have some other info on him and julianna.They had two sons -- John and Johnathan. I have nothing on the sons.(HELP). He was in the Revolutionary War. He is part of my line. Spelling has been a problem with the search.

my reference: A History of Walker County (Alabama) by J.M.Dombhart 1937 pg 333. (we do get around don't we)
