Clifford R Canfield book on German Swiss Phillippi's

For those wanting a well documented published history on the Phillippi line from Berne Switzerland and Volksberg Germany, consult "My German (Swiss/French?) Ancestors, Vol VI (Phillippi, Eichelberger and Allied Families)." (last private printing, 1995). The book is located in the Rural Retreat VA library and can be purchased from the Wythe Co VA Genealogical & Historical Association. Clifford Canfield spent a number of years researching the family while living in Germany. He has compiled more that 16 booklets on the early families of Wythe Co VA. Several highly respected Wythe Co VA historians have used his book as a reference.
