This quilt was passed down in my husband's family. It had started to deteriorate and needed restoration and proper storage and care if it was going to survive. So we placed it with Colonial Williamsburg as they have the ability and facilities to properly care for textiles. Also others can see and enjoy. It is a stunning quilt.
