I also come from David Phillippis son Thomas so I would love to have the name. Thomas is my gr-gr-grandfather he (m) Sarah Catherine Swift Dec 21, 1882. I am working on trying to get the children straight with all these Johns, Christians & David. I have found through my research that people have the wrong children listed with the wrong one. I have gotten so much mis-leading info that I try to go to the courthouses and look it up myself before I say it is true. Someone had told me that Christians wife Catherine Dutton died before 1834 but she is listed in his will that he made in 1843. He states that he gives his plantation to his younger son David "and that it is also my will that my younger son David is to maintain my beloved wife so long she stays with him" I hope he is not talking about him keeping a dead wife with him HA.
