Yes, I also notice the discrepancy in the Coweta County Chronicles and figured it was a typo error that had been over looked.
Caroline Elizabeth Phillips was George Washington Camp’s second wife. They had the following children:
George Phillips Camp married Hassie Catherine Benson
Eugene Milton Camp married Margaret “Maggie” Benson (she and Hassie were sisters)
Leila Estelle Camp married Albert G. Strickland then after his death Lelia married Thomas W. Shaddix. [also seen Leila's name as Leila Ida Camp but in her father's will it is Leila Estelle]

G. W. Camp and his first wife, Mary Ann Colbert (Mary died when their children were very young probably between 1852-1854), had a son named James… probably the reason Caroline Elizabeth and G W Camp didn’t name either of their sons after her father, James S. Phillips (that is if my Caroline Elizabeth Phillips was the daughter of James S. and Elcy/Alcy Phillips).
*Elizabeth Camp [01 Jan 1836 – 05 May 1916] buried at Powell’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery tombstone has “wife of G. W. Camp” [G. W. died in 1900, Alabama, also buried there]. After G. W.'s death Elizabeth moved back to GA .
Elizabeth Camp is buried between Martha Boyd [27 Nov 1834 – 01 Jan 1917] and the Boynton Family. I have often wondered about a connection between the Camp, Phillips, Boyd, and Boynton’s but haven't found anything except the 1910 census and still do not know how Elizabeth is the sister-in-law of John Boyd.
1910 United States Federal Census
Hulett, Carroll County, Georgia
John Boyd…76…Head
Martha Boyd…76…Wife
*Elizabeth Kamp…75…Sister-in-law

George Washington Camp wife, Caroline Elizabeth Phillips, is shown on the census as:
1860 GA…Caroline E. Camp…27
1870 GA…Caroline Camp…38
1880 GA…Elizabeth Camp…44
1900 AL…Elizabeth Camp…63
1910 GA…*Elizabeth Kamp…75
(1850 GA…Elizabeth Phillips…18…living with her parents, James S. and Alcy Phillips)

Thank you for all the info…
