Its been 12 years since my last post looking for Lydia Philips / Phillips she married George Washington Colvin in 1850 in Rankin Co.,MS. They had five children: James Elias 1851-1892 (gg-granddad); Mary Elizabeth. 1853; Margaret Jane "Maggie" 1855; John Wesly 1859; Thomas Jefferson 1861-1950. By the 1860 census Lydia and her husband were living in Vicksburg, MS. It is said the Lydia died of blood posioning 1863 while in Vicksburg, MS. In 1870 Census you fined widowed G.W. Colvin and James E.in MO. in a Boarding House. Where are the younger children??? Eventually the entire family is found in Jack Co. TX by the 1880's. Any information will be appreciated.
