Worcester Co. Mass. Administration Case #46418

I am not transcribing all of the papers, because this probate is on a preprinted form and doesn’t really include much genealogical information.

This Israel Phillips resided in Ward, Mass. On 1 April 1800, Huldah Phillips relinquished her right as Administratrix to her son, Simon Phillips.

A Bond of $10,000 was to be paid to Joseph Dorr by Simon Phillips, Gentleman, Levi Eddy, yeoman and John (Starkwell?), yeoman, all of Ward.

An inventory of the estate was filed 6 May 1800.
The Homestead of deceased in Ward contained by estimation 80 acres with the buildings thereon, valued at $1100. Personal estate consisted of bed, bedding, furniture, linens and woolen cloth, wearing apparel, farming and shoe making tools, iron and wooden ware, pewter and crockery.
Total value as per the inventory was $1222.54. Reuben Lamb, Levi Eddy and Silvanus (surname pretty much illeg.) were the appraisers.

This is probably the Israel Phillips, son of Israel Phillips and Catherine Comstock, who married Huldah Mann. No other children are shown, except for the son Simon.
